Well, it's the weirdest feeling being home. Everything feels familiar, yet different. I've realized that not everyone understands the little Portuguese phrases that I always used on the mission to get my point across. I've also discovered that my Spanish is absolutely terrible. Things I find strange or interesting:
- Street signs on every corner
- Milk that comes in gallons and goes bad if left out
- Everyone around me speaking perfect English
- Listening to people with an American accent
- Being able to play video games all day and no one cares
- Being on Facebook
- Having carpet in my house
- The fact that I don't have to press the Alt key to type this (@) anymore
- Listening to people speak Spanish and wanting to tell them how terrible their Portuguese is
- Having a little brother that is as tall as I am
